Ben Walsh is a graduate of the Urban Forestry Program at Northlands Job Corps in Vergennes, VT.
Urban Forestry Students who demonstrate responsibility and strong skills are given the opportunity to participate in Work Based Learning jobs.
Ben came to Hivernant as a WBL student and soon found himself fitting in very well with the team.
In June of 2008 Ben graduated from the Northlands Job Corps and passed his ISA Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialist written and practical exams. The following week Ben joined Hivernant as a regular team member.
